Vi-Spring Shetland Superb

The Shetland Superb is unique to the Vi-Spring collection in that it contains pure hand-teased real Shetland Isle wool along with softly needled British fleece wool. Then, a covering of worsted wool fabric and woolen tufts finishes the mattress. It is the first all wool bed option that Vi-Spring has ever made. It combines an absorbant surface softness with a supremel supportive under layer of Vi-Spring patented spring layers.

Mattress springs

Vanadium wire springs, 2.36 inch (60mm) diameter, sewn in individual calico pockets and hand formed into a honeycomb-nested unit. Constructed with two layers of springs.

Mattress border

9.1 inch (23cm) deep with three rows of genuine hand side stitching. Eight horizontal handles on Queen size and above. Air vents on all sides. Borders upholstered in protective wool, finished with piped ticking.

Mattress upholstery

Upholstered with softly needled British fleece then hand teased real Shetland Isle fleece wool, overlaid with two layers of British fleece wool. Covered with your choice of fine worsted wool
